How Erydon handles account details, shared content, device signals, and user requests
Erydon is a lifestyle-oriented social platform built around dual-photo sharing, mood-based image enhancement, profile customization, favorites, follows, and flowing visual discovery. Because those features depend on user content and app functionality, certain categories of information are received, processed, stored, and managed as outlined below.
1. Data Collection
Information we receive may include details you provide directly, content generated while using the app, and technical data created by your device or by normal service operations. Depending on how you use Erydon, this can include your name or username, email address, profile details, account preferences, messages or support requests, and the photos or captions you choose to upload or publish.
Since Erydon offers social and visual features, app activity may also produce usage records such as follows, favorites, profile interactions, browsing actions, post engagement, session times, crash reports, and general analytics about how screens and tools are used. Device-related signals may include IP address, operating system version, app version, language settings, device identifiers permitted by the platform, and diagnostic information useful for maintaining performance and preventing abuse.
Certain permissions may be requested only when needed for a feature. For example, photo library access may be used so you can upload or edit images, camera access may support content creation, and limited location access may be requested if a location-based feature is offered in the future. Contact access is not required for standard use unless a specific optional feature asks for it. If a permission is not granted, some parts of the app may be unavailable or operate in a reduced form.
Erydon may also use third-party software development kits, infrastructure tools, and embedded technologies that process technical or usage information on our behalf for hosting, analytics, moderation, customer support, communications, fraud prevention, or service reliability. Those tools may receive data consistent with their role in operating the app.
2. Data Usage
The data handled through Erydon is used to run the service, display your profile and posts, support social connections, deliver visual browsing features, personalize parts of the experience, respond to support inquiries, and keep the platform stable and secure. That includes detecting suspicious activity, enforcing platform rules, troubleshooting bugs, and improving feature design over time.
Content and account details may be utilized to show your public or semi-public profile elements to other users according to your settings and the app's functionality. Usage patterns may be reviewed in aggregate to better understand what features are popular, where users encounter friction, and how performance can be improved.
Promotional messages, product updates, or service notices may be sent where allowed by law and where contact information has been provided. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications through available controls or by contacting us. Operational notices such as security alerts, account confirmations, policy notices, and important service announcements may still be delivered when necessary.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that term. Data may, however, be shared with service providers, professional advisors, legal authorities when required, or other parties involved in a business transition, provided the transfer is tied to a legitimate operational, legal, or corporate purpose.
3. Data Storage & Security
Account records, uploaded content, and service logs may be stored on cloud systems, servers, or managed infrastructure used to operate Erydon and its related website at resplendent.erydon.uno. Storage may occur in more than one jurisdiction depending on where our providers maintain their systems and where service resilience is supported.
Protective measures can include encrypted connections, access controls, credential safeguards, logging, environment segregation, content moderation workflows, and internal limits on who may access information for business purposes. Even with reasonable security steps in place, no internet-based product or storage platform can promise absolute protection against every risk.
Retention periods vary according to the type of data involved and the reason it was obtained. Account information may be kept while your account remains active. Some content, backups, legal records, fraud-prevention logs, or dispute-related materials may remain for a longer period where operational necessity, lawful retention duties, or legitimate business needs apply. When information is no longer reasonably needed, it is deleted, anonymized, or otherwise removed from active use according to our retention practices.
4. Third-Party Services
Erydon may rely on outside providers for functions such as infrastructure hosting, media storage, content delivery, authentication, analytics, communication delivery, payment-related support where applicable, abuse detection, and technical monitoring. These partners are engaged to help the app operate efficiently and safely, not to receive unrestricted access to user information.
When third-party tools process data for us, they are expected to handle it under contractual, technical, or legal restrictions suited to their role. Their own privacy terms may also apply where they act as independent controllers or where platform-level services are involved.
Links, integrations, embedded content, or redirects to external services may appear from time to time. Once you leave our environment or interact with a feature controlled by another party, the handling of your information is governed by that third party's policies rather than this document.
5. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding the personal information associated with your use of Erydon. These may include the ability to request access to the data we hold, ask for inaccurate details to be corrected, request deletion, receive a copy of certain information, object to particular processing activities, restrict processing in some circumstances, or request that your data not be used for certain optional purposes.
- Access: You may ask what categories of personal data are processed and, where applicable, request a copy.
- Correction: If profile or account information is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request an update.
- Deletion: You may ask for your account or certain data to be erased, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
- Opt-out: You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications and, where applicable, certain data uses recognized by law.
- Non-discrimination: Exercising privacy rights will not result in unlawful discrimination.
To exercise these rights, email support@erydon.com with enough information for us to verify the request. Verification may require confirmation of account ownership or other reasonable identity checks before a request is completed. If local law allows use of an authorized agent, supporting documentation may be requested.
6. Children's Privacy
Erydon is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. The app is not designed for children, and it is not knowingly offered to individuals under 18. If we become aware that personal information has been submitted by a minor in a manner that conflicts with applicable law, we may take steps to remove the content, disable the account, and delete related data where appropriate.
In addition, the service is operated with the expectation that it will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in a way that would trigger obligations under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) without proper compliance measures. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information to Erydon may contact support@erydon.com for review.
7. Policy Updates
This privacy notice may be revised at any time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, new processing practices, or business developments. When updates are made, the revised version may be posted through the app, on the related website, or both, and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
For material changes, additional notice may be provided where appropriate, such as through an in-app message, account notification, or other reasonably visible method. Continued use of Erydon after a revised policy becomes effective means the updated terms apply to future use of the service, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
